A great custom mix of these tungsten bead Mayfly Hot Rod - H&C Mayfly nymphs. Grey in sizes 18,16,14,12,10 and 8, weighted with lead inside and a black tungsten bead.
This is Stu's sexy-fied version of the famous Hare & Copper Mayfly nymph and is pimpled up with our signature wing case and spindly nymph legs.
These mayfly nymphs will devastate NZ backcountry rivers in larger sizes, mimicking the swimming mayfly nymphs living there. As a rule of thumb, the lower down the river system, the smaller the size, and the better it sometimes can work.
