Deadly Shrimp

 Tied on a super-strong SP600 size 2 Japanese Tiemco black-nickel fly hook with a hidden mono weed guard, this design has a considerable gape for solid hooking! It rides with the hook facing up. This heavy Shrimp pattern was built for the depths, like drop-offs and channels, where the big boys lurk. Stu designed this Deadly Shrimp on an adventure decades ago in New Caledonia, in the Pacific. Boasting a clear stiff back and dumbbells for weight, plus a shining body, shrimp eyes, and two-tone marabou plumes that quiver and twitch on the bottom, it's sure to excite large fish with a shrimp-loving palate, such as Permit, Bonefish, Triggerfish, and Trevally.
