Divers fear the Titan Trigger Fish as it will attack and bite if it fears danger. Trigger fish have teeth like horses and can easily bite a hook in half with out you knowing .As a protection against predators, triggerfish can erect the first two dorsal spines like a trigger on a gun, hence the name trigger fish. Many times I have hooked Trigger Fish only for them to head to there underground home and erect their spines. They are known to exhibit a level of intelligence that is unusual among fishes, and have the ability to learn from previous experiences. They are mainly bottom feeders so get your fly on the bottom and twitch it, wait until the fish tips up, inhales your fly and then strip strike.
