These fish can get quite large, weighing up to 132 pounds (60 kilograms). They are regarded as the number one sports fish in Australia. Flies tied on strong hooks are need as these fish have hard mouths and usually jump allots shaking their heads violently to release the hook. Large flies tend to work best, stripped back quite fast to represent the fish and shrimps they feed on.
