This dvd with her book is one one the best combos you could have to teach and learn about fly casting and how to fly cast. I RATE THIS AS A MUST HAVE CASTING DVD I,ve watched this dvd more times than i care to imagine, and no i dont fancy Joan, before you all start.. :) Stu

This is the only dvd thats out there dedicated to tugging the line. :) This dvd when you watch it will help you as an instructor ,guide or someone who wants to help themselves improve there casting and understand the double haul. Another great casting/teach dvd by yet another outstanding dedicated lady ,whos also managed to get some of the biggest names in tuition on the dvd as well. Stu.

Another great proven book, text and diagrams that will help every caster learn something new from the beginner to the experienced. Its got more pages than most other casting books and is well worth having in your collection ,great to have along with her top selling casting dvd, If you dont get anything out of this book i,ll eat a dead ferret! or i would not bother selling them both would i!! :) If you can afford the book and dvd it will be well worth it for you in the long run. Another good casting book to have in the collection, you never stop learning! This is one of the top selling paperback casting books in the USA, i,m told. If you have a few books already then add this one, to the library ,but do read it. :) STU

Sadly Mel , Died this year, and for me was the man who made me learn to cast better, and study my casting, as well as all of that he explains things the way i also like , nice and simple and basic but full of fun!. This book i used many times for a reference when i sat my fff casting instructors test and also the biggest test the holy smoke one the MASTERS. :) One of my proud moments in my life was to meet him the year before the legend passed away. BUY THE BOOK. :) STU

AHH! A great little compact book with great explanation of casting ,that also even has colored detailed photos in it,. Before i had the shop and once stumbled across it in a store in Singapore. I would class it as a hidden gem of a book, thats easy to cart around due to its size, as for some reason most other casting books seem to be quite large in size, just like all my fish. :) Again i would never sell my customers something i would not buy or have bought! STU :)
