• www.southlandflyfishingclub.co.nz   This is a great wee, well large club based out of Invercargill, which holds annual meetings and fly fishing events and days on the rivers and lakes with its members new and old. Pop along or contact them if you are in the area or looking for a good club to join, they will all make you feel at home- lovely southland dudes.
• www.fishandgame.org.co.nz  Here is where you can buy your fishing license on line with a credit card, before you arrive in the country and be organized. There is also always good information on the area you wish to fish in, throughout New Zealand.
• www.thisisfly.com  This is a FREE online fly fishing magazine, that’s very hip and cool, has some of the best graphics and over all is a magazine you will look forward to receiving once you sign up for it. Fly fishermen and women all love this magazine due to its out of the box way of thinking by the cool dudes that run it, and the great fly fishing articles and photos that grace its pages.
•  www.catchmagazine.net  Another great free fly fishing magazine, some of the worlds best fly fishing photographers submit some of their work to be viewed here. Great fly fishing film clips, fly fishing photos and new fly designs feature in every issue. It a FREE fly fishing magazine that is growing and growing.
• www.kettafly.com  Here you will find some pretty amazing photos for sale from one of Australians top fly fishing photographers and also amazing quality fish prints. Al Simson is also regarded as the Australian permit guru! He basically lives for fly fishing and his photography and needs to be near water, probably because that’s where fish live. J, so lives on a boat most of the time. One day I hope he learns to swim! As he’s a Canadian and not an American living in tropical Queensland, Australia.
• www.onthefly.co.nz  Carl and Jeanie run this very smooth pro- fly fishing film Production Company, in Wanaka, New Zealand. Their first film has raised the bar on fly fishing films and good camera working recent times ,released late 2009  called –Once in a blue moon- was filmed in New Zealand. They have both worked in the film industry for years and know there stuff! Their first fly fishing film is a must for any fly fishing DVD collection and any other fly fishing film they produce in the future, has to be looked out for.
• www.supersuckers.com  This is one of my favourite bands and has been for years, even the solo stuff by Eddie Spagetti is magic. These guys do their rock and roll thing and that's what I like about them, they rock! Yes the Supersuckers hands down kick arse,  plus they have just given permission to use some of their new tracks on a fly fishing film- yes another rocking fly fishing film. Have a listen to the music, visit the site today!
• www.chappie.co.nz  -  top fly fishing guide, based out of Christchurch. Author of the book Dancing Rivers and the bearded guide who put up the trout bums and gave them the much needed  local knowledge when they were filming  the fantastic fly fishing DVD "Kiwi Camo".
• www.fedflyfishers.org      -  The best fly fishing organization in the world. Becoming a member should be a must for any fly fishing/casting enthusiast. You not only get a badge etc. but you also get a cool magazine that comes every now and then in the post.
• www.sexyloops.com  - This is a great fly casting and fly fishing site that’s a wee bit loose and fun. If you are a fly fishing geek you will like it and learn allot from it. Its run by Mr. Socks himself, Paul Arden and his band of merry fly fishermen. Check it out.
• www.flylife.com.au  - A great quality magazine that is sold throughout Australasia. If you get a chance to  subscribe or purchase the mag, you will not be disappointed. The Magazine covers freshwater fly fishing and saltwater. Fly tying and new fly designs are also featured .You may also wish to view their very popular fly fishing forum for more tackle reviews, events etc.
• www.flyfishingmagazines.com  - These guys produce the Magazine called Fly Tyer which is the only magazine in the world that is dedicated to fly tying. Its always full of what's new on the scene from fly tying materials, innovation, fly tying vices, fly designs how to tie them. As soon as I have it in my hands and have had a quick flick through it, it just makes me want to get in front of the vice and be creative. If you are into your fly tying look no further! A cracker of a fly tying magazine.
• www.taranskybamboo.com.au  If you are after a traditional bamboo rod that has been made by hand ,you might not need to look any further. Nick Taransky is the only full time bamboo rod maker in Australasia  and his passion for bamboo rods just oozes out when you first set eyes on one of his rods. Fast action, slow action, medium action he has them all and you can one made to your own taste(but not pink) and casting style. He has made rods for some famous people and some not so famous! one thing for sure is his customers come back for more & more!
